WSOP registration is its own tournament.
The blinds do not go up.
But your patience definitely goes down.
Everyone in line believes today is the event where things change.
Some have prepared.
Some have read solver work.
Some are just confident in a way that cannot be supported by evidence.
All of them are checking their phones every thirty seconds because maybe the line has somehow moved while they looked away.
The line has not moved.
The line is long.
The line is patient.
The line has more experience with this than any of the players in it.
The tournament has not started yet and already the event is testing something.
